ChromaWay and Reach for Change to make blockchain more inclusive and accessible for social entrepreneurs
ChromaWay and Reach for Change are joining forces to accelerate the speed towards Agenda 2030 with blockchain technology. The partnership will focus on the mission to combine the potential of blockchain and local social entrepreneurship to create a better world for children and youth. With this collaboration, ChromaWay joins global partners such as Kinnevik, Tele2, Kivra and Hogia to support Reach for Change’s Impact Goal of reaching 30 million children by 2030.
“2030 is only eight years away and in order to reach the UN’s sustainable development goals we need to pick up the pace. Our contribution is to tenfold our impact by 2030 and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome another partner on this journey. If technology is used in the right way it can really be a game changer and an accelerator for social impact. We see much potential in our partnership with ChromaWay and what doors we can open if we make blockchain more accessible. I look forward to digging deeper into this and testing new tech opportunities with our social entrepreneurs in Europe and Africa in the coming years.”, says Sofia Breitholtz, CEO Reach for Change.
The two global organizations were founded in Sweden and this new partnership is first of its kind for both parties. They have both been pioneering within their own field, and this collaboration opens up the opportunity to leverage blockchain as an enabler of entrepreneurship for good.
Reach for Change already has companies like Kinnevik, Tele2, Kivra and Hogia on board as global partners to enable their 2030 Impact Goal of reaching 30 million children and youth. With this partnership ChromaWay joins this common mission.
“We're building new technologies, which can be used to create more fair systems in both public sectors and user-driven applications. For many years, we have been honoring a global perspective, for instance with our virtual incubator Innovation Lab and our participation at Africa Devcon and the UN's Land and Poverty conference. It feels both fun and natural to now partner with Reach for Change, a truly serious actor that shares our values.”, says Henrik Hjelte, CEO ChromaWay.
